What happens after the big win?

Question one is whether there will be enough Democratic wins in the Senate to remove Trump? Probably not, unless Republicans who are not up for election  realize that their careers are over unless they vote to remove him.

Question two is whether there are enough votes post election to enact socialism? Again, unless Trump is removed - which takes a 2/3rds vote to override his vetoes - the answer is no. If it looks close, capitalists will direct their GOP elected officials to switch parties to stop any legislation at all - which will then have the progressives leave.

At that point, the progressives will have a chance to put their program to the electoral test. That is a hard ask. Change will - and should - take compromise. The most likely method is some form of voluntary socialism taking hold employer by employer and cooperative by cooperative. I have published some ideas on how that will work, as well as videos which move tax policy that way.

More to come.
